Introduction

Welcome! My name is Kayla Catlin. I am a sophomore at McDaniel College, currently working toward a double major in Cinema and English and a double minor in Writing and Music.

I love writing (fiction, novels, screenplays, academic), reading, singing, and making movies. My other hobbies include drawing, painting, theatre, and playing soccer.

My favorite books (or plays) are Hamlet, Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, Les Misérables, and The Book Theif. My favorite movies are Star Wars, The Patriot, Gladiator, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

My favorite place to be is the beach, and my absolute dream career is to be a screenwriter and novelist who sits by the ocean with a laptop and writes from sunrise to sunset.
